The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is the most loyal, loving, and predictable breed we have ever known! We were given our first APBT, Dixie, over ten years ago and were so pleased with her that we bought our second pit bull, Flash, shortly thereafter. We also purchased as many books as we could find in order to learn more about this outstanding breed and its history, reputation, myths, etc... As our family of American Pit Bull Terriers grew, we began working along with our friends of the breed to fight anti-pitbull legislation. We also began rescuing abandoned and/or abused American Pit Bull Terriers - giving them necessary medical attention and finding loving homes. We strongly believe that it is our duty to promote the breed in a positive light to the general public & media.

FlashFire is an active participant in ADBA conformation shows throughout the southeastern United States. We occasionally have puppies available; we strive to produce dogs that have exceptional temperaments, correct structure and movement, and overall balance. Placing dogs and puppies in loving, family homes is essential.

The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a breed misjudged by many due to the bad reputation caused by irresponsible ownership. If there is a human JERK at one end of the leash, there will be a canine JERK at the other - whatever the breed! It is up to all of us APBT lovers to feel confident that dogs and puppies are placed ONLY in loving environments with people who have the time, attitude, ability, and means to properly care for and love their American Pit Bull Terrier.
